Note to Friends...Since the RL is used as a "learning boat" for the purposes of these races, the helm changes throughout the series. It's important to me that we take turns at the helm - much as I'd like to be there the whole time. :) Terry Landis, Dan Heath and I all shared this role during the Regatta with Leon (new member) and one of Elayne's young friends (a 6th grader who'd never been on a sailboat!) crewing with us. I'm passing along the beautiful etched glass 1st place for big boats to Dan. The best prize for me was enjoying the company of all of you, sailing well, practicing new techniques and having fun! peace, Cheryl
